Inventory integration
With the transfer of supply responsibility within the framework of a C-parts management system to Keller & Kalmbach, your stocks are transferred to Keller & Kalmbach stocks and, if necessary, also transferred to appropriate containers.
This is normally done by our Kanban Service Team at the time of installation of the system. The existing goods are either provided by the customer, i.e. you, or our team transfers them into our containers.
In case of overstocking we can indicate this on the corresponding container by a marker if desired. In this way a buffer stock can be checked for overstocks before the regular demand is triggered. However, in some cases it is also more sensible for economic reasons to scrap surplus goods.
Knowledge of the current stock situation is not always available in advance. However, this is very important for a smooth and above all secure supply transition. If the inventory situation is very confusing, part of the container infrastructure is sometimes empty and part already filled is made available on the installation date.
